New bypass in Bosnia & Herzegovina opens

BBR Network team delivers durable structure in short program

The 10km long Sarajevo Bypass in Bosnia & Herzegovina has been declared open and a key component of the scheme - the 720m Brijesce Viaduct – features BBR technology and expertize. BBR Adria used BBR VT CONA CMI internal tendons to post-tension the viaduct in stages and used a total of around 653t of 1,860Mpa prestressing steel. The team successfully overcame the challenge of a short program involving the execution of up to four separate slabs at the same time.
