CONNAECT Awards 2010

BBR Network members from Croatia and Austria win top Awards.

Awards were recently presented to BBR Network members for articles and photography which appeared in CONNAECT 2010.The prize for Best Article 2010 went to Zelimir Bodiroga of BBR Adria d.o.o. for his account of slab post-tensioning work at a printing house in Croatia. The judges chose this article as it clearly demonstrates how the BBR Network Member went the extra mile to deliver customer satisfaction and reflects the passion they have for their work. Meanwhile, the award for Best Photography 2010 was presented to Thomas Heubel of VORSPANN-TECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG for his company’s work on the Donaumarina Bridge in Vienna, Austria. The high quality photographs chosen to accompany the article covered all aspects of this strengthening and upgrading scheme – and captured some of the human faces behind the project too.
