BBR Headquarters updated delegates of latest projects and developments within the Network

Dr. Antonio Caballero, Head of R+D, updated to the BBR Network members about the new status on the BBR VT CONA CMX Post-tensioning system. During the presentation the three new European Technical Approvals (ETA) for internal, CMI BT and CMI SP, and band applications, CMB SP, were presented. The new BBR VT CONA CMI approvals, CMI BT and CMI SP, cover all types of internally post-tensioned applications with tendons sizes from 1 to 73 seven-wire prestressing strands. The new BBR VT CONA CMB SP approval covers both internal and external applications with band tendons which are factory-provided with a corrosion protection system. The CONA CMB BT is available on tendon sizes from 1 to 16 seven-wire prestressing strands. Dr. Antonio Caballero also updated to the BBR Network members with the latest R+D testing carried out along the last year on specific topics such as damping/sag, friction/wear and pin connector among others.
Prof. Berislav Medic, design engineer of Zagreb Arena, presented architectural and structural design aspects on various buildings and stadiums he completed recently. An overview about new publications which are now available for the Network and our customers was given by Thomas Richli, Business Development Manager.
